As one of Europe’s most competitive automotive markets continues to evolve, Hyundai France has been investing heavily in digital transformation initiatives designed to improve customer experiences and streamline operations. As part of this strategy, the company partnered with Stripe and Square1 to develop a unified platform capable of managing complex payment flows across more than 180 dealerships throughout France.
The new solution was designed to address a growing need for greater visibility and control over payments while supporting Hyundai’s plans to expand its digital offering, including future subscription-style vehicle services.
Built on Stripe Connect, the platform brings together payment management, dealer onboarding and reporting into a single environment. Hyundai headquarters can now oversee transactions across the entire dealer network, while dealership teams have access to tools tailored to their specific operational needs.
The platform supports multiple user roles, ensuring that administrators, sales teams and dealership managers each have access to the information and functionality relevant to their responsibilities. This provides a streamlined experience while maintaining clear governance and access controls across the network.
In addition to simplifying day-to-day payment operations, the platform has improved dealer onboarding through Stripe’s integrated compliance and verification capabilities, helping reduce the complexity traditionally associated with managing multi-party payment relationships.
Since launch, Hyundai France has gained real-time visibility into transactions across its dealer network, replacing fragmented processes that previously relied on multiple systems, spreadsheets and manual workflows. The result is a more efficient payment operation, enhanced reporting capabilities and improved access to business insights.
Importantly, the platform has also been designed with future growth in mind. Its underlying Stripe Connect architecture provides the flexibility to support new digital services and subscription-based offerings as Hyundai continues to expand its customer experience strategy.
